18th Annual Care for Kids Charity Golf Tournament
August 19 @ 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm
We are excited to announce that the 18th Annual Care for Kids Golf Tournament is officially
underway! Thank you to everyone who made the 2025 tournament such a success. Like last
year, all the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Lethbridge Food Bank’s Mindful
Munchies program, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, and the Lethbridge Hurricanes’ Education
Fund.
This year’s tournament will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at Paradise Canyon
Golf Resort. Registration for the event begins at noon followed by lunch at 12:30pm and a
shotgun start at 1:30pm. Dinner will begin around 7:00pm with both a silent and live auction to
follow.
We are so excited for this event and hope that you accept this letter as a formal invitation to join
us at the tournament! We rely on our incredible supporters, like you, to make this fundraiser
possible; whether it is through registration, sponsorship, or a donation of an auction item, we
hope you will be able to take part in this event to help support such wonderful charities!
Here is some more information on the programs below:
Mindful Munchies is a program created by Lethbridge Food Bank to provide nutritious lunches to the children and youth of various schools and agencies within our community. It has proudly served over 78,000 lunches within the
2024/2025 school year and is hoping to expand to include more schools and agencies. Since 1982, Lethbridge Food Bank has been dedicated to providing food and resources to its community and surrounding areas.
Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a charity founded by Canadian Tire which helps
children overcome financial and accessibility barriers when it comes to sports and
Jumpstart recreation in hopes to promote inclusivity for children of all abilities.
Giving kids a sporting chance.
The Lethbridge Hurricanes’ Education Fund provides Hurricane players with a full
year scholarship, including tuition, textbooks, and other fees related to a
post-secondary institution of their choice. Since its league-wide launch in
1993-94, nearly 8,000 scholarships have been awarded, representing an
investment of more than $35 million by WHL Clubs.
We look forward to seeing you on August 19th for the 18th Annual Care for Kids Golf
Tournament!
