Guidelines for Accessing Lethbridge Food Bank Services

We ask that anyone who is in need of our services provide us with the following items:

Identification of each person in the home (Ex. Drivers License, Birth Certificate, or AHC Card for all family members)
Proof of address/phone number/birthdates of each person in the home
Proof of income (Ex. SFI, AISH, CPP, OAS, DIS, EI, Child Tax, Child Support, Alimony, Student Loan, Wages, etc.)
Proof of expenses (Ex. Daycare, Alimony, Child Support, Rent/Sub, Mortgage/House Tax, Utilities, etc.)

Once you have met our guidelines, you will be given a 3 month or 6 month card to make your next visit quick and easy. When your card expires, you will need to re-qualify by bringing the paperwork listed above.
We provide food to our clients according to the number of full time residents in the household.
A client can pick up bread and produce three times per week and a hamper once per calendar month.
We also offer ‘No Fixed Address’ hampers for our transient clients.
